Cheer Fundraiser!!

The cheer team has greatly benefitted the Paredes community by engaging our students athletically and socially, giving them the opportunity to be meaningful leaders both on and off campus. However, the biggest obstacle has been the financial barrier that comes with cheer. We want to do all we can to lift that barrier and welcome every student!

We're asking all community members to help our extremely talented students get new uniforms. Please donate/share at the QR code below!

Coach Manuel Valdez

The cheerleading team is made up of a mascot, 7th grade Pep Squad, and 8th grade Cheer Squad coached by Manuel Valdez, the 8th grade U.S. History teacher. This team works together to be a part of what makes Paredes a welcoming community. We help build community through positive school spirit and valued student role models. All 7th and 8th grade students are welcome on the cheerleading team. We encourage any student who is passionate about cheering on their fellow classmates to join. Cheerleading at Paredes is all about being a leader and modeling what a good work ethic, positivity, and determination can do for student outlook on education and school community.
