Chromebooks

Hi Parents/Guardians!

As we head into the new school year, we are going to be issuing Chromebooks to all students. Parents/Guardiansand Sutdents MUST review the Student Technology Expectations and Digital Citizenship inlcuding the Device and Care Tips. Prior to receiving their Chromebook and charger, every student MUST have a parent or guardian's signature in our Paredes Updated Austin ISD Student Technology Expectations and Digital Citizenship form. This signifies your acknowledgment and agreement to the terms outlined in the Austin ISD Acceptable Use Policy and/or Student Handbook.

6-8 Grade Supply List

  • No. 2 pencil for daily use (STudents go through pencils VERY quickly! Get plenty!)
  • Blue or black ink pens for daily use
  • Wide ruled lined paper for daily use
  • Pencil pouch/bag
  • Colored pencils
  • Earbuds
  • Composition notebooks (per teacher request)
  • 1 one-inch or 1.5 inch ring binder (AVID students)
  • 1 set five tab divider (AVID students)
  • Kleenex; at least two boxes;-turn in to your science teacher
  • 1 hand held sharperner with receptacle (optional)

Suggested items for donation: Please give these to your science teacher

  • Hand sanitizer, Kleenex, Pencils
  • Chromebook and charger

If student lost their charger, families are responsible for purchasing a replacement, these are available on Amazon or other retailers. Charger type: 65 W USB Type C Laptop Charger.
