All AISD students will be provided a school-issued Chromebook and charger for educational purposes. With being given this technology comes the responsibility to properly care for these devices.

• brings their Chromebook to school every day.
• charges their Chromebook at home every night.
• knows where these items are and keeps them safe.

Please be AWARE of the following district policies:

Austin ISD Technology Replacement Fee Guidelines

• First damaged/lost device is replaced for free from campus stock.
• Second and beyond (damaged/lost devices) are charged $50/per device.
• First charger is issued with the student Chromebook.
• Second and beyond are charged $15/per charger.
• Students/Families are responsible for replacing lost chargers.
• Chargers can be purchases for $15 in the Paredes Library.
• Chargers are also available on Amazon - charger type: 65W USB Type C Laptop Charger for Lenovo Chromebook.
