With only 7 weeks of school left, PTA is busy preparing to finish our school year and celebrate with our students and families.

La primavera está aquí y solo quedan siete semanas de clases. Nuestros estudiantes están trabajando arduamente con el apoyo de nuestra comunidad de aprendizaje.

Estamos haciendo un inventario informal de Chromebooks esta semana durante el aviso. Los estudiantes también tomarán la encuesta Panorama. Tuvimos a los representantes del programa Breakthrough en el campus esta semana para reunirse con posibles candidatos para este programa. Regresarán esta semana para ayudar a los estudiantes durante la asesoría a completar solicitudes para esta emocionante oportunidad a través de la Universidad de Texas. Su enfoque es reclutar estudiantes de sexto grado para seguirlos/apoyarlos hasta que se gradúen de la universidad.

Por favor vea el formulario adjunto que fue enviado a casa con su estudiante. Esto incluye información y expectativas para la participación de los estudiantes en una celebración de octavo grado.

Austin ISD Technology and Device Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement

All AISD students have access to technology and approved devices to support their learning. Students must return device(s) in clean and working order when they graduate or withdraw from Austin ISD. Students and families will be responsible for accidental damage and losses beyond the first incident ($15 per charger and $50 per damaged or lost device*) However, please note that intentional damage will follow the procedures outlined within the Student Success Guide.

*Fees are subject to change

Resources to Support Using Austin ISD Devices

All devices for Austin ISD students will be distributed by the student’s campus. Please contact your school device manager for more information about pick up. If your child is in need of an Austin ISD hotspot for their learning, please contact your campus. Quantities are limited for qualifying students.
